The near-total solar eclipse has finished in the skies above Ireland. The eclipse began this morning at 8.30am whereby people described the air to become colder and darker as the sun was almost completely blocked by the moon. The darkness overshadowed us in Ireland at approx 9.30am and then natural light resumed at 10.30am.
A large gathering of people stood at the front square at Trinity Gardens to watch the eclipse take place. To some it was #JustAnotherDay as the clouds blocked the view.
